Our Spring Training will go all Freestyle on March 18th, 2024. We provide the opportunity for girls to train, learn freestyle wrestling technique, support athletes who compete in the Girls Wrestling Freestyle Season run by PA USA Wrestling, and develop our athletes in preparation for the 24-25 Wrestling Season.
These sessions are voluntary for girls in 6th thru 12th grade during the 23-24 School Year. Girls who have not wrestled before and want to try wrestling are always encouraged to join the workouts. Bring a water bottle. Appropriate attire includes a sports bra and t-shirt, and shorts, tights or sweatpants. Nothing with zippers or buttons or hoods.
Our normal weekly schedule will be wrestling twice per week (Eagle View Aux Gym) and strength training twice per week (HS Fitness Center). Training will run from March 18th, 2024 thru May 30th, 2024.
Mondays, 315-500PM: Strength Training, HS Fitness Center
Tuesdays, 345-530PM: Freestyle Training, EV Aux Gym
Wednesdays, 315-500PM: Strength Training, HS Fitness Center
Thursdays, 345-530PM: Freestyle Training, EV Aux Gym (Thursday Throws!!)

Note: We understand athletes coming from Mountain View will Middle School always be 15-20 minutes late due to their 3:25 dismissal. No problem.
Our Freestyle Season is supported by the Eagle Wrestling Club, our Cumberland Valley Girls Wrestling Booster Organization.
We will target the following Freestyle Competitions where/when we will have coaches available (and potentially provide transportation):
Sunday April 7th: Freestyle State Qualifier (Top 4 Qualify for States) at Northern York HS (Closest one to us)
Saturday, April 13th, Freestyle State Qualifier (Top 4 Qualify for States) and Girls Club Duals (Super fun!) at Downingtown West HS
Sunday, April 28th, END OF SEASON BANQUET (New Kingstown Fire Company)
Sunday, May 5th, Freestyle State Qualifier (Top 4 Qualify for States) Northamption Middle School
May 10-11: USAW NE Regionals (Top 6 Qualify for FARGO), Harrah’s, Atlantic City, NJ
May 17-18: PAUSAW Freestyle States (Top 4 Qualify for FARGO), Alvernia University, Reading, PA
